Terms governing your use of the Scan Files Pro iPhone app and related websites
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 18, 2026
By downloading, accessing, or using Scan Files Pro, you agree to these Terms of Use and the Scan Files Pro Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not use the app.
“Scan Files Pro,” “we,” and “us” refer to the developer who publishes Scan Files Pro through the Apple App Store.

Subject to these Terms and applicable Apple App Store rules, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Scan Files Pro on Apple devices that you own or control.
Except where permitted by law, you may not:
· Sell, rent, sublicense, distribute, or commercially exploit the app
· Copy, modify, reverse engineer, or attempt to obtain the app’s source code
· Bypass security measures or technical restrictions
· Interfere with the normal operation of the app or related services
· Use Scan Files Pro to create a competing product, dataset, or service
You must have the necessary rights or permission to scan, import, edit, convert, save, or export any document, image, or other content used with Scan Files Pro.
You retain ownership of your content. You grant Scan Files Pro and its service providers limited permission to process selected content only as needed to provide the feature you request.
Scan Files Pro may provide tools for opening, reading, scanning, annotating, editing, converting, compressing, merging, splitting, protecting, or exporting supported files.
Feature availability may depend on:
· The file type and document structure
· The size or condition of the document
· Your device model and operating system version
· Available storage and device resources
· Network availability for online features
· Permissions granted to Scan Files Pro
Some files may not open, display, convert, or export as expected because of unsupported formatting, file corruption, encryption, access restrictions, or other technical limitations.
Some features, including document summaries or other supported processing tools, may depend on third-party providers and an internet connection.
Generated summaries or processed results may contain omissions, formatting differences, or inaccurate information. You should compare important results with the original document before relying on them.
Online features may be delayed, limited, modified, or unavailable due to network conditions, service-provider changes, technical maintenance, or regional restrictions.
You may not use Scan Files Pro to:
· Violate applicable laws, regulations, intellectual property rights, privacy rights, or the rights of others
· Scan, copy, edit, convert, distribute, or share content without the required permission
· Upload malicious code or files intended to damage devices, systems, or services
· Attempt unauthorized access to the app, its systems, or third-party services
· Overload, disrupt, or interfere with online document-processing services
· Bypass file protections, usage limits, security controls, or technical restrictions
· Misrepresent altered, scanned, or converted documents as official or unmodified originals
You are responsible for reviewing your documents before saving, exporting, submitting, or sharing them.
You retain all rights to the documents, images, annotations, and other content you use with Scan Files Pro.
Scan Files Pro may process selected content locally on your device. When you choose a feature that requires online processing, the relevant content may be transmitted to a service provider solely to complete the requested task.
Data processing is further explained in the Scan Files Pro Privacy Policy.
Do not submit confidential, regulated, legally protected, or highly sensitive documents to an online feature unless you are authorized to do so and understand how the selected provider handles that content.
The original interface, design, code, graphics, text, and other elements of Scan Files Pro are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Third-party libraries, file-format technologies, and open-source components remain subject to their respective licenses and notices. Third-party names are used only to identify compatibility, formats, or service providers and do not indicate endorsement.
We may maintain, update, modify, limit, suspend, or discontinue certain features when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance, service-provider changes, technical maintenance, or product operation.
We do not guarantee that every document format, editing tool, conversion option, online service, or other feature will remain available in every region or on every device.
Updates may change the app’s interface, compatibility, requirements, or available features.
You may stop using Scan Files Pro at any time and may delete locally stored documents or remove the app from your device.
We may limit access to certain features when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, abuse, security risks, technical problems, service-provider requirements, or legal obligations.
Removing Scan Files Pro may also remove documents stored only within the app. You should export or back up important files before deleting the app or making significant changes to your device.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Scan Files Pro and its related services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
We do not guarantee:
· That every file will open, display, scan, convert, compress, merge, split, or export without errors
· That annotations, summaries, conversions, or processed results will be complete or accurate
· That online services will always be available or uninterrupted
· That every feature will work with every document, device, or operating system version
· That using the app will prevent file loss, corruption, or accidental deletion
Scan Files Pro does not provide legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice. Document summaries and processed results are provided for general reference and should be checked against the original content.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, legal protections, or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
We may update these Terms when Scan Files Pro features, service providers, or legal obligations change. When changes are made, the effective date shown at the beginning of these Terms will be revised.
